Club Volunteers needed
« on: January 28, 2020, 09:11:00 AM »
Hi all,

As you know, LDTR is totally run by volunteers. We all love riding and organising rides & events, but we also have jobs and families too. So we need your help.

There are various rides and events that you can help out with, and your riding experience doesn’t really matter too much. Here are a few options for volunteering:

Junior Social rides - ride leaders and ride helpers (once a month)
General Social rides - ride leaders and ride helpers (once a month)
Lazy Loops races - race set up and Marshall’s (warmer months only)
Trail build days - anyone that can hold a shovel (once a month)
Skills sessions - instruct beginner and intermediate bike lessons (formal training and rider experience needed, but let us know if you are interested)

The main thing we are looking for is that you are an official LDTR club member ($30 annually) and can commit to once a month or so.

Please respond below and we’ll send you more details or email us at events@lysterfieldmtb.com.

Thanks so much.

Tim

To commit to leading a min of 4 social rides per year for two years.
