New ride dates!!!
From May we're moving to the second weekend of the month.... Which means we're kicking things off with a Mother's Day super special social ride!!

Super special,  you ask? Yep absolutely.
Of course there will be Zoe's world famous cupcakes... Coffee.... Ample networking opportunities.... Add to this we're going to ride in THREE groups for all you shredders.
* Beginners will see the sights and enjoy a cruisey pace.
* Intermediate riders are going for a PREVIEW LAP of the Golden Goat Challenge race loop.... Get your practice in ladies.
* finally the Fast &Furious are going to whip around the entire park.

Add to this.... Please join us at 8.15am for a chat (over coffee, of course!) about all things racing. Get the scoop on what to bring, race etiquette, tips and tricks for the day. What day? The Golden Goat Challenge is of course just 7 days later.
Let's show the world how many amazing women ride MTB at Lysterfield and join in the race fun!

Rego for the social ride is here:

I can help volunteer in the morning ... Who do you need where? I can do carparking or rego tent. Or something else.

Welcome back Trav. Hopefully you are all healed and stay upright for a while.

You’ll love the Golden Goat. There will be a few pinners up the front but the majority of people are there just to have a fun day out on the bike.

Hope to see you on a social ride.

New to Mountain Biking? / Getting back into it

I'm just getting back into riding the MTB after a couple of injuries.  I hurt my wrist last year and then got a back injury a couple of months ago, thankfully I'm healed up and went for a roll a couple of weeks ago it was great fun to be out again on the Anthem despite some people riding the wrong direction on the trails!

I just registered for the 3hr Golden Goat next month, fair to say I don't now what I've gotten myself into but I'll try not to hold anyone up out there on the day!
