Hi Everyone,

I lost my foldable bike lock on one of trails on Sunday 7 Feb 2021.  It somehow fell off my bike without me realising it.  It's a Rockbros combination lock.  If you've picked it up or know where it is, please let me know so I can collect it.

Hi Stephen, as you can see things are a little quiet over here on the forum! Most of the action is over on Facebook these days.
Try here:
And there's here also:

We do have a regular ride on Tuesdays, we meet at the map hut at the Horswood Rd entrance at 6pm. It's unofficial and anyone is welcome!

Welcome and Introductions / Hi. Returning rider, looking for a group to ride with.

Good Afternoon.

My name is Stephen.  I used to MTB between 2005 and 2011 but I broke my leg and never got back into it.

I have decided to get back into the sport recently and am looking for some people to go riding with.

Groups will be capped at 50 (i think we're safe there!), physical distancing must be observed.
No spitting, snotting, wet willies, nipple crpples, chinese burns or kissing! (Couples may apply for an exemption but really, no one needs to see that!)

I know it's been a while, so here goes!

Regular Tuesday Night Social ride

This is our weekly social ride. Intermediate level and up preferred, but come along and try your luck! A dedicated beginners night will be catered for on another night in the near future.

The Ride: About 20 - 30kms on the main loop going anti clockwise. (You can bail from the ride at any time).

If heavy rain is forecast for 6pm, we won't ride.

Note the Tuesday night ride is NOT an official LDTR organised ride and it is not an "instructional" ride. The participating riders are just a group of like minded people out for a ride to enjoy the park. We're not charging any fees and we do not cover any incidents with insurance or accept any liabilities. We do not take responsibility for peoples abilities on this ride.  Mountain biking can be dangerous and you are undertaking these rides entirely AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Where: Top end of Car park, just in gates on Horswood Rd. Near the Map stand.
When: 6pm to 8pm.

General Discussion / Shipping bikes interstate
« Last post by TravG on November 25, 2020, 09:51:22 AM »
Does anyone have any experience with transporting bikes in interstate?  I’m unable to come down from Brisbane to Melbourne to collect my bikes from storage.  Is there a bike shop anyone knows of in Melbourne that could box up a mountain bike & CX bike and get them sent up north?

Any help is appreciated.
Might have to swing past at 6 and see what gives..

Hey everyone,
I moved up here mid pandemic and finally my "bubble"
Allows me to get out to lysterfield and live up to my username

And a huge shout out to Terry for helping me sort out my Password issues
Not many out there that can do a lap of Lystie & stay within 5km of home.  The PV workers would barely be able to do a lap of the SMBC with the 5k now including your work place, if you count the PV compound in Reservoir Rd as their workplace.
